The Staff
We have a staff of committed Christians who consistently model God’s great love for the children, their friends and their families. Our staff is carefully selected for their educational background, experience, and understanding of the needs of young children. Teachers share basic Christian ideas of love, reconciliation and service during the course of each day through example, conversation, problem solving and circle time.

Renee Stinar, Director
I feel really blessed to be a part of this preschool. I received my BA from San Francisco State University with my core courses in early childhood development. While attending college I began working as a teacher's aide, working my way to director. After moving to Idaho I took a coordinator's position with the Boise Family YMCA - coordinating local school-age and preschool programs. I want this preschool to work in partnership with you to nurture your child’s development and make this an enriching experience for your whole family.

Stacy Poyzer, Lead Teacher 4/5's
I received my early childhood education at Pacific Coast Bible College and continue learning through the Idaho Stars Program. I enjoy nurturing the characters of young children and watching them succeed and be the "miracles" God intended them to be.

Kristin Sager, Lead Teacher 3/4's
I am grateful to be on staff here at Hope Lutheran Preschool. I have been involved in preschool since 1992, starting out as a teacher’s aide and moving up to being a co-director in my last preschool. I took early childhood education courses while attending Concordia College and Trinity College. I continue to participate in early childhood education through the state and national Early Childhood Education Association and the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association. I believe children learn best by hands on experiences and through play. Each child has unique gifts and abilities that need to be developed and valued. Preschool is a wonderful time in a child’s life.

Nancy Hasselblad, Asst. Teacher 4/5's
Helping children learn and play in a safe, nurturing Christian environment is so important. I taught 1st grade for 23 years in Oregon before moving to Idaho. I enjoy teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Michelle Lozano, Asst. Teacher 3/4's
I love working with children and feel very blessed to become a part of the Hope community. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Montana State. I worked in Bozeman as a preschool teacher. After moving to Idaho I started my own preschool.
